Virginia Pearl Chesnut, 79, of Gentry, Arkansas, died February 10, 2012, at the home of her son in Ringgold, Georgia. Born December 7, 1932, in Gentry, she was the daughter of Clark Evilsisor and Pearl Shafer Evilsisor. She moved to Gentry from Missouri in 1957. Virginia worked as a grocery store clerk and a school bus driver. She was a member of the Gentry Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Bruce Chesnut of Ringgold, Georgia, Dean Chesnut of Haven, Kansas, and Keith Chesnut of Longmont, Colorado; one daughter, Nileta Jackson of Watts, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and many lifelong friends.

Virginia Pearl (Evilsisor) Chesnut and her parents, Clark and Pearl Evilsisor, who helped start Ozark Academy, are all buried in Flint Creek Cemetery in Gentry, Arkansas
