Clinton Seventh-day Adventist School

The SCHOOL BEGINS

The Clinton school was an eight-grade school that opened in 1973 with Mrs. Charles Hightower as the teacher. It grew to a two teacher school with about seventeen students. It operated from 1973 to 1979. The school reopened as the Clinton Home School in 1984 with one teacher and three students. It closed in 1987, then reopened in 1993 in a new metal structure separate from the church, with one classroom, a gymnasium, and a kitchen. The school closed in 2000 (Files, n.d.).
