Myra Jo (Wilcox) Gifford was born April 27, 1924, in Heflin, Louisiana, and died Oct. 4, 1971, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Survivors include her husband, Harvey L. Gifford Jr.; her daughter, Betty Jo Jones; her parents and one brother. Words of comfort were spoken by Elder V. L. Chase. Assisting in the services were Elders P. I. Nosworthy, B. P. Haskell, and Herman J. Griffin. Interment was in Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport (Haskell, 1971).
