A Brief History of Fort Smith, Arkansas

The Work Begins

The North Fort Smith Spanish group was started in 2017 with the help of fifty-two members of the Fort Smith Central Spanish church. The group was divided into four small groups, meeting in the neighborhoods every week. The material used was a Bible study plan called La fe de Jesus, which is well-known in the Spanish community. The group began working towards having evangelistic meetings in the spring of 2018 (Alvarez, 2018).
