Fort Smith Pathfinder Club

FORT SMITH Pathfinder Club ORGANIZEd in 1968

In 1968 the Fort Smith church organized a Pathfinder Club of fourteen charter members, seven boys and seven girls. Mrs. Robert G. Scaggs was elected director of the club, Mr. Bob Roberts was elected deputy director, and Mrs. Robert Scaggs became the secretary/treasurer. Much work had been done in starting the new club. They made plans to get their flags, uniforms with proper insignias, and a flag pole. Their goal was to have a model club by seeking to follow the high standards of the Pathfinder organization. (Jameson, 1968).
