1997 Activities

The Acadian Gators and Alligators of Lafayette ended a successful year of fun, activities, and accomplishments in 1997. Activities included participation in the union-wide camporee at Lone Star Camp, a fall canned food drive, a fall social, a Christmas social, a chilly spring campout, a bike-a-thon, and a host of other activities. They ended the year with a joint Adventurer/ Pathfinder/VBS weekend, which included model rocket launching to complete the model rocketry honor (White, 1997).
