The Searcy Pathfinder Club was organized in January 2009, under the leadership of their director, Herman Clements. Their first year they were busy getting outfitted with uniforms and gear. They also completed their CPR training, conducted by instructors from Northstar Emergency Medical Services in Searcy, and thoroughly enjoyed a tour of the emergency medical van (Clements, 2009).
